Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

ZKidz Dev LLC runs ZKidz Dev Courses and is the controller of the personal data described here.

2. What we collect

  • Account: email, display name, avatar, preferred currency, marketing choice and when you made it.
  • Purchases: orders, billing country, amounts and tax. Card details stay with Stripe.
  • Learning: course access, lesson progress and watch time.
  • Credits: your wallet balance and every change to it.
  • Support: what you send through the help form.
  • Technical: IP address for rate limiting and fraud checks, and error reports.

3. Why we use it

  • To run your account and deliver courses you have access to (contract).
  • To take payment, keep financial records and meet tax law (legal obligation).
  • To keep the platform secure and stop abuse (legitimate interest).
  • To send product news, only if you opted in (consent).
  • To measure usage with analytics cookies, only if you accept them (consent).

4. Sub-processors

These providers process personal data on our behalf:

  • Stripe: Payments, invoices, tax calculation
  • Supabase: Database, sign-in and file storage
  • Mux: Video hosting and streaming
  • Resend: Transactional email
  • Sentry: Error monitoring
  • Upstash: Rate limiting
  • Vercel: Website hosting
  • Cloudflare: Bot protection (Turnstile) and DNS

Some of them store data outside your country. Transfers rely on the providers’ standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

5. Cookies

Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember your theme and currency. Analytics only runs after you accept it. Details are in the cookie policy.

6. How long we keep it

  • Account data: until you delete your account.
  • Orders, invoices and credit ledger: as long as tax and accounting law requires, linked only to a pseudonymous id once your account is deleted.
  • Support messages: up to 2 years after the last reply.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export and delete your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Export and delete are self-service on your account page. For anything else, email founder@zkidzdev.com; we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your data protection authority, including the Philippine National Privacy Commission.

8. Children

The platform is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
